All that surrounds us is competition
No one should be underestimated, because even large companies have failed.
If competition were as bad as some think, it simply would not exist. Others think they have no competition, which is naïve, because although there is differentiation, there are always companies offering similar products and services.
Today even a freelancer working from home can be competition. Competition is healthy, it is who makes us aware and available for change or condemned to disappear from the market.
Things change, markets change, consumers change, everything changes, and those who do not know how to manage change end up disappearing.
As Charles Darwin said
"It is not the strongest who survive, but those with the greatest capacity to adapt".
History is full of examples of large companies, much admired in golden times, that no longer exist. Ignoring or undervaluing others is one of the greatest mistakes that can be made. Also a mistake that is often made.
Quality is our best guarantee of customer loyalty and outperforming the competition.
Quality guarantees customer loyalty, it is our strongest defence against competition and the only path to growth and profitability.
As more quality, less competition, more quality, more customer loyalty and higher the profitability.
To be obsessed with bringing value and improving continuously are attributes that define the winning companies, those that survive over the years.
It is said that we remember quality long after forgetting the price.
Culture of systemic innovation
This is a strategic vision of innovation. We are not talking about a one-off innovation, but rather a mentality that encompasses all levels of the organisation, involving people, processes, products, partnerships, communication, and so on.
When innovation is systemic, it is understood as having the objective of guaranteeing sustainability to the business, that is, making it prosper in a lasting and continuous way. And in this sense, it is fundamental that all relationships and decision-making in the organization have this "mindset".
This type of innovation reflects a search for change by a systematic analysis of the opportunities these changes can offer for social or economic innovation.
How the process of systemic innovation works.
Change, systematic search for opportunities – innovation.
In other words, change happen or are brought about in the environment, based on that, entrepreneurship must seek the opportunities that arise from this, and then design a new product, service or innovative concept that will exploit this change. Systemic innovation represents the break of paradigm and involves profound changes within the organization.
Focusing on innovation is something that drives companies, inevitably. It is important to note that, in the case of systemic innovation, the benefits provided by that will only be successful through other related innovations, because systemic innovation is not independent, and that is the greatest difference between innovation. Therefore, innovation can only be achieved in conjunction with complementary innovation.
This is a principle taken daily at Living Tours by all the people who belong to the company and it is part of our mindset, of our daily thinking, it is something that we encourage in the teams and in the daily acts, as well as in the elaboration of new processes always valuing an openness to change, leaving the traditional, the usual, to bet on the unknown and the different in order to innovate and achieve better and innovative results.
