This guided walking tour will give you the opportunity to learn more about the history of Barcelona, from the Roman period, through the Middle Ages, to the 20th century, “by the hand and brush” of the famous painter Pablo Picasso.

The meeting point will be the Fossar de les Moreres. From here, we'll head to the Picasso Museum.

Although the Picasso Museum was initially housed in a single building, the Aguilar Palace, it has been expanded over the years. Today, it is made up of five different palaces, built between the 13th and 14th centuries, and just before entering the Museum we can see them all from the outside. 

You'll learn about the painter's artistic evolution, from his youth to his death, as well as discovering his time in Barcelona between 1895 and 1904. 

With your guide's explanations, you'll learn about the five periods that marked Picasso's life: the blue period, the pink period, the cubist period, the neoclassical period and the surrealist period.
