Cockburn’s wines are aged in well-seasoned oak casks and vats, each individually watched and frequently tasted by a highly experienced team of winemakers and tasters, until they reach their peak of maturity. The impressive scale of the Cockburn’s lodge makes it possible to house the large maturing stocks of the Special Reserve Port, which develops its distinctive style by being kept in cask for longer than most other Reserve Ports. The aim is to achieve the perfect balance for which Cockburn’s Special Reserve Port has become well known. 

The great renovation that Cockburn's did recently, allowed to inaugurate a museum, two test rooms and open to the public its cooperage. Renovations, these, which serve to provide you with the best experiences.
